Earthspace has dived deep into numerous new processes to find futuristic sounds and has come out the other side with an amazing new album that is going to turn heads and shake the foundations !

‘In Medias Res’ is packed full of the classic Earthspace funky and powerful grooves, and his amazing psychedelic sound sorcery, plus a more varied palette of influences has crept in and helped create a special album that is filled with surprises. Deep-and-mysterious atmospheres catapult to uplifting-and-funky peaks, dark-and-brooding moments shift to gentle-and-life-affirming throbs all with the greatest of ease, and set in an unmistakable Earthspace style.

Taking the album title from the latin expression ‘In Medias Res’ (meaning : ‘in the midst of things’ or ‘into the middle of things’), and using it as a partial explanation for the process of which he stopped and started the creation of the album over the last few unsteady years, ‘In Medias Res’ shows an artist that is not scared to take risks during a time when music is so formulaic. Deep psychedelia is peppered with other worldly melodies, while hip-hop and reggae vocals dart over infectious grooves, not to mention the haunting beauty of the closing title track that features live recorded instruments drifting over a Dub groove.

Included in the album is one collaboration (with the maestro Martian Arts) plus a remix of a legendary Man Made Man track for some extra spice.
