StarLab is a Psytrance project initialised by Bharat Bindal from Goa, India.

Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharat at a very early age, earning him a Music Diploma at the age of 10. Over the years, as a self-taught Bass & Guitar player he gathered a wealth of experience touring and recording with his band for over a decade until he encountered the hypnotic sound of Psychedelic Trance Music at a beach party in Goa, India. This strongly affected his musical persona after which he began to teach himself synthesis & music production and project StarLab was born.

In 2011 he went to San Francisco USA to study music professionally and quickly became a popular DJ in the West Coast scene, gaining a lot of experience playing at many local parties & festivals while learning music production.

On returning to India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label Digital Om Productions as Live Act and since then he has gone on to make numerous releases and perform in top festivals and venues around the world in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Nepal and all across Europe. These include Main Stage performances at iconic festivals such as Boom – Portugal, OZORA – Hungary, Universo Paralello – Brazil, Antaris Project – Germany, Hilltop Festival – India, Own Spirit – Spain, Shankra Festival- Switzerland, Exit Festival – Serbia, Electric Daisy Carnival – India, Sunburn Festival – India and many more.

StarLab has collaborated with and remixed of the world’s top artists such as Alpha Portal, Burn In Noise, Avalon, Outsiders to name a few with releases on renowned labels such as Digital Om, Sacred Technology,  Shamanic Tales, Iboga, IONO,Future Music and many more. He notably appears on VA Book of Changes by ASTRIX, Alpha Portal VA Dimensions 005 & 007, VA Psynation by Ace Ventura & Liquid Soul amongst many others.
